Fresh Strawberry Picking & Handling Tips

We provide berry boxes for picking at no extra charge. It’s helpful, and earth friendly, if you bring your own containers when you pick your own strawberries. Berry boxes from last year, flats from cases of water, or ice cream buckets make great containers. We recommend you bring a water bottle and sunscreen on hot days, and bug spray is a good idea in the evening. For you early morning pickers, a knee-pad and long pants help to keep the heavy dew at bay. A dry pair of shoes to change in to after strawberry picking also helps.

Pre-Picked Strawberries

Fresh strawberries are also available pre-picked. Orders are taken by phone. During the season, please call 715-294-3742 for more information, or stop by and we will take the order in person. It is unusual that large quantities of berries are immediately available. This is because we want you to have the freshest possible fruit, and berries keep best on the vine. We will call you to confirm your order and let you know when the strawberries will be available to pick up. We do our best to have berries ready when you want them, but we can’t control the weather.
